The series opener as well as the second game will be played at the Allan Border Field in Brisbane, following which the third and final ODI will be played at the W.A.C.A. Ground in Perth.
India's first-choice wicketkeeper-batter Yastika Bhatia is out of the series due to a wrist injury she picked up during the ongoing Women's Big Bash League. In her place, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led team have called up Uma Chetry, who is uncapped in one-day internationals.

As for Deol, it could be her first international match of 2024, with the 26-year-old having battled a knee complaint for much of the year.
As for the Aussies, Alyssa Healy will not play the series and 21-year-old Georgia Voll has been handed her first international call-up. Healy will miss the series due to a knee injury and her availability for the next series against New Zealand too is unknown. Tahlia McGrath will captain the hosts in Healy's absence, like she did towards the end of the T20 World Cup.
