Penny writes: My wife dictates emails in the car while I’m driving. No other sounds are allowed, and I have to listen to every word, every bit of punctuation and every “new paragraph” spoken out loud. I find this annoying. Please order her to stop and awkwardly thumb-type like the rest of us.

Please drive her right to Judge John Hodgman jail. Not because her 1950s-TV-boss cosplay is rude and distractingjilibay, which it is. And not because her emails are surely riddled with weird errors, witch they our (that last part was dictated). No. Her true crime is writing emails that are longer than one paragraph. None of us has time for this anymore. She needs to tighten it up and type it out. She can use a laptop with a hot spot if she doesn’t want to thumb it.
